Amazon’s virtual assistant, Alexa, is a very useful device when it comes to managing and interacting with your smart home devices (Echo Dots and Echo Shows) and home appliances such as smart bulbs and lights. smart lights. For example, Alexa lets you easily turn your smart plug off and on again just by saying a command, or play your favorite songs on your favorite music streaming platform, like Spotify. But let’s say you need Alexa to perform an action in the middle of the night, and you have a baby or a sleeping partner in the same room? It can distract and disturb them. That’s where Alexa’s Whisper Mode comes in.
What is Alexa Whisper Mode?
Whisper mode allows Alexa to recognize voice commands when users whisper them rather than when spoken at normal voice volume. Alexa, in turn, responds in a similar whisper tone. The feature is available on Amazon Echo Dot smart speakers, as well as Echo Show smart displays.
