ASCPB publishes 3rd edition of ‘The Supply Chain Street’


The 3rd edition of “The Supply Chain Street”, a supply chain magazine, published by the Alliance of Supply Chain Professionals Bangladesh (ASCPB), was launched on Friday.

Syed Alamgir, CEO of Akij Group Ventures, was present as the main guest at the launch event, hosted by ASCPB at the Grand Oriental Hotel in the capital’s Gulshan.

Top supply chain leaders joined the program as special guests while Co-Founder of The Supply Chain Street and ASCPB President M Ashraful I Khan, Editor-in-Chief Mohammad Mamun Chowdhury were also present in the program.

Participants discussed current supply chain challenges, day-to-day supply chain issues, and more.

ASCPB began its journey in December 2017 with a mission to promote the growth of supply chain professionals in the country. Their intention is to provide leadership through education, networking, knowledge sharing and transfer of best practices across the supply chain industry.

They have held periodic seminars, knowledge sharing sessions and gathered on modern supply chain concepts including procurement, trade, logistics and supply chain finance etc. by the country’s leading supply chain professionals.

Their mission is to foster the advancement of end-to-end supply chain management through knowledge transformation, innovative research, systems development and methods to create value for customers, members and organizations. Improve local and global supply chain management capabilities.

Their vision is to create a broad platform for the supply chain industry and train professionals who can help make their own organization effective in all aspects of supply chain management.

The ASCPB is the Alliance led by its members of the supply chain professionals group. At the very core of our heart is to serve and advance the interests of supply chain professionals and practitioners in Bangladesh.

The main objectives of the ASCPB are knowledge sharing, skills development, capacity building, process development, awareness, development of supply chain excellence and standards through the implementation network and collaboration of supply chain professionals.
