The author of “Life After Heaven” will speak

Christian motivational speaker Steven Musick, the best-selling author of “Life After Heaven,” will lead the 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, May 15 at First Baptist Church, 1003 W. Sixth St., Loveland.

In 1976, the Denver native’s heart stopped and he was in a coma for five weeks, a life-changing experience that prompted him to talk about the Kingdom of Heaven at work in this world.

An impromptu music-making session will take place outside First United Presbyterian Church, 400 E. Fourth St., Loveland, from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, May 13.

Namaqua Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 745 W. Fifth St., Loveland, will hold an in-person and online service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 15. Reverend Laurel Liefert, Ministerial Intern Clare Hammoor and Music Director Ryan Marvel will present “These Walls.” They will share some of the ministry Hammoor has done in Colorado prisons. Centered around the screening of a short film, the service will invite participants to reflect on the ways in which care and accountability can create healing and hope in our criminal justice system.
