DHL Supply Chain Malaysia, which provides supply chain management and third party logistics, recently unveiled its latest warehouse in Batu Kawan, Penang.

The facility was created primarily to meet the supply chain requirements of a major customer – a multinational corporation based in the United States.

The warehouse was opened by DHL Supply Chain Malaysia Managing Director Mario Lorenz, while guests include the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) Director in Penang, Muhammad Ghaddafi Sardar, and representatives from the Department of customs.

The warehouse has a range of state-of-the-art contract logistics technologies, including high-tech operational tools such as an automated conveyor belt system, as well as a highly reliable warehouse management system for smooth operations. to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency. .

“We have worked with our customers, maintaining good relationships over the years, especially technology companies in the northern region, providing third-party and fourth-party logistics,” Lorenz said.

“This new facility marks an important milestone for DHL Supply Chain Malaysia as the ‘Supplier of Choice’ in Batu Kawan on the mainland.
