Enable Facebook Dark Mode on Android
To make the Facebook app use dark mode on your phone, first launch the Facebook app.
In the top right corner of Facebook, tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines).
On the “Menu” screen, scroll down. There, tap on “Settings and privacy”.
In the expanded “Settings and privacy” menu, select “Settings”.
On the “Settings and privacy” page that opens, in the “Preferences” section, tap on “Dark mode”.
The “Dark Mode” page offers several ways to control the theme in the app. Your options are:
- At: Select this option to enable Facebook dark mode.
- Disabled: Use this option to disable dark mode.
- Use system settings: If you activate this option, Facebook will use the default mode of your phone. This means that if you have enabled dark mode on your Android phone, Facebook will also use this mode.
And in an instant, your Facebook app will go dark.
