Southeast Bank is officially launching five bank branches for the unbanked across the country, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas of Bogura, Satkhira, Manikganj, Magura and Faridpur.
Its main objective is to maintain the trend of financial inclusion and spread banking services to all corners of the country, reads a press release.
Deputy Managing Director of Southeast Bank, Anwar Uddin, inaugurated the official operation of five bank agent outlets virtually as the chief guest. Other bank officials and owners of the five outlets were also connected virtually during the launch event.
All kinds of modern and technology-enabled conventional and Islamic “Tijarah” banking services will be provided by South East Bank’s agent banking “Shagotom”.
Customers can obtain much more facilities from the banking agent “Shagotom” of the Banque du Sud-Est, such as they can open an account (savings/current); cash deposit/withdrawal; funds transfer; cash transfer via BEFTN to any bank account; sending funds abroad; checkbook, debit card and credit card processing; Facilities for opening a BO account and trading in shares; free digital health service; micro, medium and krishi ready; attractive health insurance benefit; utility bill; disbursement of the loan; government allowance, loan to regular customers and also get internet banking.
Customers will also be able to perform necessary banking services 24 hours a day at the Recycler ATM at the agent’s exit.
